Vineland Rotary Club charters Cumberland County College Rotaract Club
Vineland Rotary club is proud to announce the birth of the Cumberland County College Rotaract Club, and the installation of its new officers. This wonderful event takes place at the Cumberland County College George P. Luciano center.
The event was the culmination of over 8 months of vigorous efforts led by Vineland Rotary Club President Betsy Frank, and Vineland Rotarian Melanie Druziako who is club's liaison to Rotaract Club.
Dave Schad of Vineland Rotary Club led the attendees at the Pledge of Allegiance and the Four Way Test. Victoria Druziako, president of Vineland High School Interact Club and Julia Frank, member of Tri-county Community Interact Club sang the National Anthem.
Carl Kirstein of the Vineland Rotary Club led the invocation. After Dinner, Ralph Owen, Rotary District Governor of District 7640, and member of Washington Township Rotary Club spoke to the group.
That was followed by Presentation of Members by Melanie Druziako, and signing of the new Cumberland County College Rotaract Club Charter led by Nancy Gulick of the Rotary Club of Camden, and the Rotaract District Director.
Ralph Owen and Nancy Gulick presided over the installation of officers, followed by kind remarks from Dr. Thomas Isekenegbe, the Cumberland County College Rotaract Adviser, and soon to be the acting Cumberland County College President.
Jared Talarico, president of the new Cumberland County College Rotaract Club spoke to the group, and was followed by presentation of gifts to the CCC Rotaract Club by VRC President Betsy Frank. Gifts included a new CCC Rotaract Club banner and a gavel.
Ted Lane, Vineland Rotary Club President-Elect made closing remarks.
