June 3, 2009, Vineland, NJ – When it comes to outstanding youth, 17 of Vineland’s finest were the honored recipients of more than $17,000 in scholarships at the Rotary Club of Vineland’s Annual Scholarship and Recognition event. Held at the Ramada Inn, the ceremony included the presentation of 12 different scholarships, many named in honor of long-time Rotarians who dedicated themselves to furthering the dreams of area students.

“Tonight’s event is one of our club’s favorites as it exemplifies our reason for being,” says Betsy Frank, President, Rotary Club of Vineland. “Our club members work very hard all year long to raise funds, volunteer in the community and create and implement programs for people and organizations in need.
