Public Relations is the responsibility of every member! PROMOTE EVENTS!September 2 ON SITE MEETING Bring Your Kids to Rotary Day at Thunderbolt Raceway Lunch at 12:00pm and tour of the park. Karting at 1:00pm. Fee $25.00 (each driver must be at least 12 years old to drive.) The karting event will take between 60 and 90 minutes to complete depending on number of drivers. Cars top out at approximately 55 miles per hour and driving suits and helmets are provided. A Rotary member or kid only race will be staged where drivers will get around 10-12 practice laps then there will be a race. The race will also be around 10 laps. (Totally optional event) Will be loads of FUN !!!! September 4 Family Day at Mennies School. Rotary Table will be set up for the event. Time: 9:00am to 10:00am September 7 Jersey Boys. The Story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. A great New Jersey themed musical for anyone who loves nostalgia or just a good time. TWO Bus Tickets left - Event SOLD OUT! September 21 Cruisin' Down the Maurice River Part II.Time: 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Includes a 2 1/2 hour boat ride with lots of food, drinks and great fellowship. October 21 Blood Drive November 8 Rotary Day at the United Nations Time: 8:00am at Ramada Where: United Nations, New York City, New York. Rotarians, Interactors and their guests are invited to attend Rotary Day at the United Nations. The meeting, scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at UN Headquarters, will include presentations and panel discussions addressing key humanitarian issues such as water, health, literacy, and hunger. December 3 Special Needs Holiday Party December 4 Annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction Time: 6:30p.m. - 9:30p.m. Where: Centerton Country Club Ballroom. Tickets - $50/person. Proceeds benefit Vineland Rotary Charities Foundation. The VDC serves the needs of mentally challenged women. Rotary has been proud to sponsor an evening of fun and food for these special ladies. February will mark our 35th anniversary of sponsoring this party. May 2 Talent Show “Cumberland County's Got Talent” Time: 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Where: Centerton Country Club Ballroom.
