2010 Conferees

is Rotary's leadership training program for young people. The RYLA Conference is conducted at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey for five days each June, and sponsored by Rotary International District 7640. The selected conferees are juniors in high school (entering their senior year). The Vineland Rotary Club has proudly paid the tuition and provided transportation for these students.

The purpose of the conference is to emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth, and aims to

• Demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth
• Provide an effective training experience for selected youth and potential leaders
• Encourage leadership of youth by youth
• Recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities

The Vineland Rotary Club sent 10 High School Juniors last June 2010 to Stockton College for the RYLA Conference.
